What can CropItFast do?

  • Multiple separate regions from one page – turn on "Multi-region crop" mode to extract several images/pages from a single page.
  • Automatic margin detection – with one click, the program detects the page content and trims away the unnecessary white margins for you.
  • Crop templates – save frequently used crop layouts (e.g. "business card", "A4 no margin") and reapply them anytime with one click, even across multiple pages.
  • Shareable download link – instead of downloading directly, you can request a time-limited link that's easy to pass along or open on another device.
  • Adjustable output quality – fine-tune DPI and JPEG compression for print or on-screen use.
  • Fast and mobile-friendly – large, many-page documents (PDF, PS, EPS) stay smooth to work with, even on touchscreens.
  • Always-sharp, vector-based preview – zoom in as much as you like, text and lines never pixelate.
  • Precise cropping – draw the area you want on a PDF, PS, or EPS document, and the exact crop is applied.
  • Manual, precise size entry – if you don't want to draw by hand, you can type in the exact crop coordinates in millimeters or points.
  • Three export formats – JPG images (in a ZIP), raster PDF, or vector PDF, whichever suits your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I crop multiple separate areas from one page?

Yes - turn on "Multi-region crop" mode at the bottom of the crop menu, then select and confirm as many areas on the page as you like, one after another. Each appears as its own small preview and can be saved as a separate output file/page.

Can I save a crop layout I use often, so I don't have to redraw it every time?

Yes - in the "Templates" panel, give a name to your selected area(s) and save it. Later, load it back anytime from the dropdown with one click, even on a different page or document - if a template contains selections from multiple pages, each one is restored to its own page.

Can I type in the exact crop size instead of just drawing it by hand?

Yes - the "Precise size" panel lets you enter the exact crop coordinates (left/top/right/bottom) in millimeters or points, for when you need more precision than freehand drawing.

Is there automatic margin detection?

Yes - the "Snap to margin" button detects the actual content of the page and adjusts the selection to skip the unnecessary white margins. You can choose whether it applies to the current page only, or to all (visible) pages.

How can I share the cropped file instead of downloading it?

In the Save section, check the "Shareable link" option - after saving, you'll get a time-limited link you can easily forward or open on another device, instead of a direct download.

How large a file can I upload?

The maximum PDF, PS, or EPS upload size is currently 200 MB.

How long are my uploaded files kept on the server?

Uploaded files are kept only for the duration of your session, for editing purposes - they are not archived or shared.

What is the difference between JPG, raster PDF, and vector PDF saving?

JPG export gives each cropped page as a separate image file (packaged in a ZIP). Raster PDF combines those same images into a single PDF file. Vector PDF preserves the original document's vector (text/line) content as precisely as possible instead of converting it to an image - this gives the smallest file size and best quality.

Why is vector PDF saving sometimes unavailable?

This only happens with password-protected (encrypted) PDFs: for security reasons, no encrypted PDF can be opened, even if the password is blank/known. Raster export (JPG, raster PDF) still works in that case, because it uses a different, more capable tool.

Does it work on mobile phones?

Yes, the interface is touch-optimized: draw the crop box with one finger, scroll/zoom with two fingers. All the tools live under a single collapsible "Menu" so they don't take up unnecessary screen space.
